"Λοιπόν, όταν πρωτοξεκίνησα το drag, ήθελα να γίνω μια slutty drag queen, όπως κάνουν όλοι όταν ξεκινούν. Ήμουν λοιπόν αρχικά η Jasmine Rikers, όπως η φυλακή! Αλλά μετά, όταν η μαμά μου (όχι η drag μαμά) έμαθε ότι έκανα drag , είπε «αν πρόκειται να γίνεις drag queen. θα είσαι αριστοκρατική». [...] Έτσι πήρα το «Jasmine» από τον Aladdin και το «Kennedy» από το JFK. Αλλά το Instagram είχε ήδη έναν χρήστη με αυτό το όνομα, οπότε άλλαξα το "y" στο Kennedy σε "ie!"[4]
