  • As mentioned on the show, Melinda is the first queen from Edmonton, Alberta to be on Canada's Drag Race.
  • Melinda went to George Brown College in Toronto for fashion techniques and design.
  • Melinda is Mz. Gay Edmonton 2017, Edmonton Drag Idol Winner 2018 and she has performed at the top of Whistlers Mountain for Jasper Pride.[3]
  • Melinda and Kiki Coe are the first pair of queens from Canada's Drag Race to save each other from lip syncing for their lives using the power of The Golden Beaver.
  • Melinda is the first contestant of Asian descent to win Snatch Game on Canada's Drag Race.
