La segunda temporada de Drag Race Philippines fue anunciada oficialmente por el juez Rajo Laurel en una entrevista con Philstar.com el 6 de octubre de 2022.[1] Cuatro días después, Discovery+ y HBO Go negaron que ya hubiera una segunda temporada de Drag Race Philippines en camino.[2] Sin embargo, el 19 de octubre de 2022, World of Wonder anunció oficialmente durante el Marché International des Programs de Communication 2022 que el programa y Drag Race Philippines: Untucked! habían sido renovadas para una segunda temporada.[3]
El 29 de octubre de 2022, se abrió oficialmente el casting para la temporada 2 con fecha límite el 1 de diciembre de 2022.[4]
El cast de la temporada 2 fue anunciado el 11 de julio de 2023.[5]
La ganadora de esta temporada fue Captivating Katkat, con Arizona Brandy como finalista. Hana Beshie ganó el título de Miss Simpatía.

Curiosidades[]
- Una canción titulada BOOGSH!, interpretada por dos girl groups diferentes conocidos como Pak Girls y Vlyungangühveoux, se lanzó en plataformas de streaming una semana antes del estreno de la temporada.
- Esto confirmó involuntariamente que la segunda temporada comenzaría con un estreno dividido, convirtiendo a Drag Race Philippines en la primera franquicia fuera de Estados Unidos en hacerlo.
