Icesis Couture

Icesis Couture es una artista drag y una de las concursantes de la segunda temporada de Canada's Drag Race, siendo coronada como la segunda Superestrella Drag de Canadá en la final.

Más tarde participaría en la primera temporada de Canada's Drag Race: Canada vs The World.

Origen de su nombre drag[]

Icesis es una apasionada de los libros y tiene una colección en la que guarda nombres interesantes que encuentra. En particular, utilizó un libro de nombres de bebés para encontrar inspiración. "Icesis" es un nombre que le gustó especialmente y "Couture" añade un toque de moda y estilo a su identidad drag.[5]

Curiosidades[]

  • Icesis, junto a Adriana, son las primeras concursantes de ascendencia latinoamericana en competir en Canada's Drag Race.
    • Esto la convierte en la primera ganadora latinoamericana de la versión canadiense.
  • Icesistiene un hermano menor que también se dedica al drag. Su nombre drag es Savannah Couture.[6][7]
  • Icesis es la segunda concursante en ganar su primer episodio y tener que hacer el lip sync en el siguiente episodio, después de Denali.
    • Sin embargo, Icesis es la primera en hacer esto dentro de los dos primeros episodios.
  • Icesis ganó ambos retos de diseño en su temporada, que fueron sus victorias en total (dos).
  • Icesis comparte algunas similitudes con Rita Baga, concursante de la temporada 1, Rita Baga. Ambas ganaron los episodios 1 y 6, estuvieron en el "bottom" dos veces (uno de sus últimos fue el makeover) y tuvieron que hacer el lip sync en los dos últimos episodios.
  • Icesis también comparte algunas similitudes con Priyanka la ganadora de la temporada 1. Como ambas ganaron dos maxi retos y estuvieron en el "bottom" dos veces.
  • Icesis es la primera ganadora en tener que hacer el lip sync en el episodio 2.
