La octava temporada de RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars fue anunciada oficialmente por Logo el 18 de agosto de 2022.

El 14 de abril de 2023, se anunció que la temporada será estrenada el 12 de mayo de 2023 por Paramount+. El 20 de abril de 2023 se anunció el elenco que compondría la temporada. La temática de la promo fue 'Old Hollywood MET Gala'.

Jimbo fue coronada e introducida en el Drag Race Hall of Fame, con Kandy Muse como finalista. LaLa Ri ganó el título de Queen of the Fame Games y se llevó $60,000.
