Óscar Madrazo Hassey,[1] commonly known simply as Óscar Madrazo, is a Mexican actor, TV host and entrepreneur. He is also known for being a regular judge on Drag Race México.
Óscar Madrazo was born in the Mexican capital, the son of Gabriela Hassey de Madrazo and the businessman Federico Madrazo de Giovannini. Since he was a child, his mother supported him and encouraged him to follow a career in modeling at the age of 9. He would then appear in several TV commercials and participate in diverse runways.
In 1989, at the age of 19, he began his career as a businessman, founding his modeling agency Contempo Models. Throughout his career he has worked in Mexico with international top models such as: Claudia Schiffer, Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, among other personalities.
Additionally, Óscar began his television career on the show Mexico's Next Top Model, where he played the role of Artistic Director as well as main judge for five seasons. Though the project that consolidated him in the television industry was the reality show Fashion Hunter, focused on documenting Oscar's day-to-day professional life.
