Memorables Quotes[]

Drag Race Thailand Season 2[]

  • "This is Angele. Prepare before you go to hell!" (entrance quote)
  • "มันเป็นความบังเอิญอย่างสมบูรณ์ที่ แคนดิ๊ ทำถูกต้องแล้ว เพราะโดยสัตย์จริงแล้ว เธอไม่รู้เรื่องสีเลย"
  • "What are you doing?" (in the confessional reacting to Mocha Diva talking about Miss Gimhuay breaking the rules)
  • ♪ "I may appear as Beyoncé, but this is me, Angele. Bitchy, beauty, quality. I am the one that you can't be. I am the girl that you wanted. I am the queen that you needed. Right here, right now, and that's my crown. Get out of the way or you'll be slain." ♪ (verse in the Top 5 Medley)

Trivia[]

  • Angele is the third transgender queen to compete on the Thailand version after Meannie Minaj in Season 1, and fellow Season 2 contestant Kandy Zyanide.
  • Angele is the first Thailand queen and the first in the franchise to consecutively win 5 challenges (Episodes 4 to 8).
  • Angele is the second regular season winner in the franchise to land in the bottom more than once, preceded by Luz Violeta (The Switch S1).
  • She is the first to queen to win 6 challenges in one season, beating BenDeLaCreme's record in All Stars 3 of 5 challenge wins.
  • She is the first transgender woman to win in the Drag Race franchise.
  • Outside the show, she is well-known for her impersonation of Beyoncé.
  • Angele's finale performance was inspired by the story of a dark period in her past.[3]
  • On September 16, 2021, most likely due to lockdown regulations in Thailand, Angele revealed that she was working as a house cleaner in order to support herself.[4]
    • 9 days later, on September 25, 2021, she said in a post that she had changed to working in a restaurant.[5]
  • Angele is the only Thailand queen to have been saved from the bottom lip sync because of her maxi challenge win. Natalia Pliacam, Mocha Diva and Tormai all had to lip sync despite winning the maxi challenge.
    • Coincidentally, both Mocha Diva and Tormai were eliminated.
    • Also coincidentally, Natalia Pliacam eventually won her season, just as Angele had done.
  • She was featured in the Troye Sivan, "Got Me Started" music video. [6]
  • With the announcement of Drag Race Thailand Season 3, Angele officially holds the record for the longest reign by a winner before their succession, beating Chad Michaels, who reigned for 1,453 days (3 years, 10 months, 17 days).
    • This does not count winners who have never been succeeded due to their series being cancelled or on hiatus, such as Leona Winter, who was crowned before Angele, but whose series (The Switch Drag Race) has not had a third season announced.
