Ank Cosart is an Argentine drag performer and one of the contestants on the third season of Versus Drag Queens.
Ank would later compete on the sixth season of La Más Draga. He notably received the most votes from fans to be directly cast into the season, becoming La Más Votada of the season.
Drag Name Origin[]
Before doing drag and while browsing on an anime forum, Ank searched for different names in Japanese in order to create his username. He ultimately decided to go with Ankokuzo, which stemmed from Ankoku, meaning darkness.
He would then use this name for a while when he started doing cosplay, but soon found out that many people could not pronounce it correctly, which led him to just shorten it to Ank. He also liked Ank because it was unique and reminded him of Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Meanwhile, Cosart came around from the combination of Cosplay and Art, with his drag being characterized by the mixture and his love for these two things.[3][4]
