Arantxa Castilla-La Mancha is a Spanish drag performer and one of the contestants of the first season of Drag Race España.
On January 13, 2024, Arantxa was announced as one of the contestants of the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs The World, where she would later be voted Miss Congeniality by her fellow castmates.
Drag Name Origin[]
Her drag name is essentially the Spanish "equivalent" of Hannah Montana, but has multiple other origins. "Arantxa" is a common name in Spain, similarly to how "Hannah" is in the United States. "Castilla-La Mancha" and "Montana" are territories of the respective countries. Additionally, "Arantxa" and "La Mancha" rhyme, just like "Hannah" and "Montana." It also comes from a popular kids song, using the same alliteration, "Arancha-cha, de la Mancha-cha..."[citation needed]
