Ariel Versace is the stage name of Bryan Neel, a drag queen, performer, and the wig company Drag by Chariel owner along with Chasity St. Cartier (her partner/fellow drag queen), as well as one of the queens on Season 11 of "RuPaul's Drag Race" where she placed 11th.

Name Origin

"Ariel" comes from the main character of the movie "The Little Mermaid", which Versace was obsessed with when she was younger. "Versace" comes from the same named fashion brand, because she was trying to sound bougie.

  • Versace is the 1st "RuPaul's Drag Race" contestant to have named herself after a Disney princess.
  • She had over 120,000 followers on Instagram prior to the cast reveal, making her the 3rd-most followed among Season 11 contestants, behind Plastique Tiara and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo.
  • She does makeup tutorials on her YouTube channel (where she has around 25k subscribers).
  • Her favorite past-contestants are Season 6 winner Bianca Del Rio and runner-up Adore Delano;
  • She was paired with Eureka O'Hara for Episode 1's mini challenge, a photoshoot.
  • Had she reached snatch game, she would have impersonated Colleen Ballinger as Miranda Sings.
  • She is the 5th contestant to slip and fall on the main stage, after Akashia, Naysha Lopez, Cynthia Lee Fontaine, and Farrah Moan. However, she's technically considered to be the 4th, as Cynthia planned her slip and fall as a parody of Madonna's slip at the 2015 Brit Awards for her "Night of 1000 Madonnas" look. She is also the second queen to slip/fall/land incorrectly on screen during the lip sync for your life, after Kahanna Montrese. Coincidentally, these were both on Season 11.
