Ava Pocket is a Mexican drag performer and one of the contestants on the second season of Drag Race México.

Sound the alarm! A red hurricane is approaching the second season of Drag Race Mexico. Don’t be confused by the height of this queen. She is pocket-sized, but has the energy to dance, sing, do comedy, and even run and design drag contests in Tampico. A little girl with big dreams, she’s about to be Mexico’s Next Drag Superstar.[3]
Drag Name Origin[]
Her last name Pocket is a reference to her height, with her usually being among the shortest students at her school. Initially an insecurity, she decided to make it part of her drag name as a source of empowerment. She then searched for different names that matched with Pocket, ultimately finding Ava, which means "to give life". This resonated with her due to her primary goal in drag being to give life through her performances.[4]
