BenDeLaCreme, often referred to as BenDeLa or DeLa, is an American drag performer from Seattle, Washington. DeLa is well known for being a contestant on Season 6 of RuPaul's Drag Race. She finished in 5th place and was voted Miss Congeniality by fans.
DeLa also competed on the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, becoming the first queen in the show's herstory to win five challenges in a single season. She controversially chose to eliminate herself in place of one of her competitors in Episode 6.

Kooky, funny and "terminally optimistic," this vintage pin-up queen brings an excess of character to the race—not to mention she's a dead ringer for Michelle Visage. Call her "DeLa" for short, or "Miss Creme" if you're nasty.[2]
Drag Name Origin[]
BenDeLaCreme started off with a completely different drag name. She has previously performed under the name Teena Angst. Eventually she changed it to BenDeLaCreme. The name combines her real name, Ben, and is a play on the phrase "Creme De La Creme," which means, "best of the best."[citation needed]
