Biography[]
Bruna Braga has dedicated more than seven years to comedy, starring in several shows throughout the years. She is part of the comedy group "Coisa de Preto", Brazil's first Black stand-up comedy group. She participated in some of the most important comedy shows in São Paulo and the country.
She participated in Fábrica de Talentos on Multishow, Trace Trends on RedeTv!, The Noite and A Praça É Nossa on SBT, Programa Mulheres on Gazeta, CNN Tonight on CNN, Programa do Porchat on Tv Record, Estação Livre and Roda Viva on Tv Cultura, and LOL - Se Rir, Já Era! on Prime Video.
She won the comedy competition Central Stand-Up - A Seleção and starred in Stand-Up No Comedy in 2018. She was part of the project Comediantes Resolvem Problemas do Mundo from Comedy Central and the 2019 and 2020 season of Comedy Central Apresenta. She hosted, alongside Emicida, in 2020, Vai Ser Rimando and, in 2021, Bate Boca Brasil, with journalist Léo Dias. Also in 2020, she conducted Papo Reto on Amazon Music and was part of the podcast Lança a Braba for a season.
She was a scriptwriter for Prêmio Multishow in 2020 and 2021, and the shows Dani-Se Season 1, Jojo Nove e Meia Season 1. She also wrote a feature film for Paramount in partnership with the project Narrativas Negras.
Bruna works as a freelancer for different news outlets, and tours around the country with her solo show Medicada Ela é Ótima.
