The second season of Call Me Mother was officially announced on September 22, 2022. The premiere date was also revealed to be October 26, 2022. The promo theme is finest drag, which was also shown on Episode 1 during the adoption challenge.

The winner of Season 2 will be crowned the Next Child of Drag, win a year's supply of Wella Cosmetics and a chance to be the face of Wella at Pride Toronto, a year's supply of Rimmel Cosmetics, a 7 night stay for 2 at the Alma Resort Luxury LGBTQ+ Experience in Puerto Vallarta courtesy of Air Canada, and $25,000 courtesy of Freddie.
