The third season of Camp Wannakiki premiered on June 24, 2021 on YouTube. 10 campers were selected to compete to be crowned as the "Queen (or King) of Camp".
The season was announced on February 22, 2020 with casting being reopened and on April 10, 2021 the judges announced through the show's official Instagram account they would be holding a "Spring Fling" drag show on the platform Stream Ally on April 18, 2021. The stream featured performances by contestants from both Season 1 and Season 2, and ended with the reveal of the Season 3 cast.[1] The cast reveal was later posted the next day on the official Camp Wannakiki YouTube channel.[2]
On May 1, 2021 contestant Lucy Couture was announced as disqualified after filming after sexual assault allegations came to light. It was also announced that her screentime would be reduced and she wouldn't be allowed to win any title or prize from the show.[3]
On May 6, 2021 a Meet The Campers video was posted by Camp Wannakiki's YouTube Channel. At the end of the video, The Sugarbaker Twins and Dear Ruthie announced a paid membership program for the show's YouTube channel, which would give members, among other things, a three days early access to all episodes.[4] The first trailer for the season was released on June 9, 2021.[5]
The winner of the third season of Camp Wannakiki was Geneva Convention, with America Powers and Bulimianne Rhapsody placing as runners-up. Kai Lee Mykels was awarded the Miss Congeniality title by her fellow castmates.
