- In her Meet the Queens video, Cheddar says that she believes she is the first Drag Race contestant to hold a doctoral degree, possessing a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Manchester.[5]
- She was followed by Drag Race México finalist Gala Varo, who possesses a PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Guadalajara.[6]
- In September 2023 Cheddar began a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Manchester based around the See Me; Hear Me project, which will explore "disability and the use of drag as a form of radical advocacy and collaborative self expression".[7]
- This makes Cheddar the first Drag Race contestant to take on an academic position after competing on the show.
