Trivia[]

  • In her Meet the Queens video, Cheddar says that she believes she is the first Drag Race contestant to hold a doctoral degree, possessing a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Manchester.[5]
    • She was followed by Drag Race México finalist Gala Varo, who possesses a PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Guadalajara.[6]
    • In September 2023 Cheddar began a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Manchester based around the See Me; Hear Me project, which will explore "disability and the use of drag as a form of radical advocacy and collaborative self expression".[7]
      • This makes Cheddar the first Drag Race contestant to take on an academic position after competing on the show.
        • However, Gala Varo was a Professor of Biomedicine, Biochemistry and Immunology at the University of Guadalajara prior to competing on Drag Race, so Cheddar is not the first to hold an academic position in general.[6]
  • On UK Season 4, Cheddar became...
    • ...the first contestant from the cast to get a shoot on Fashion Photo RuView.
    • ...the second UK contestant to win three Maxi challenges in a row, after Lawrence Chaney on Season 2. She was followed by Ginger Johnson on the following season.
      • However, Cheddar is the only one to be a solo winner of all three challenges.
    • ...the first Drag Race UK contestant to win the Girl Groups challenge, Snatch Game and the Makeover challenge.
      • Across the Drag Race franchise, Cheddar is the fourth contestant to win the Snatch Game and Makeover challenge in the same season, after Katya, Envy Peru and Xilhouete.
