During the fifth episode of the first season of Mudrakels, Collision Course revealed that she is HIV-positive, and has survived AIDS during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines. She further explained that due to her HIV's progression to AIDS, contracting COVID-19 almost killed her.
- This makes Collision Course the first Filipino non-Drag Race queen to disclose her HIV/AIDS status on a drag reality competition show in the Philippines.
Collision Course is the second Filipino queen to come out as HIV/AIDS positive after Ongina from the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race and the fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.
