1 2

The second season of Drag Den, subtitled as Drag Den with Manila Luzon Season 2: Retribution, was officially announced by the show's official Instagram account on April 13, 2023 and premiered on January 18, 2024.[1] Manila Luzon reprises her role as the show's host,[2] while Nicole Cordoves also reprises her role as the show's Drag Dealer and Sassa Gurl also reprises her role as the show's Drag Runner.

Casting for the season began on April 14, 2023 and closed on April 30, 2023.[2] "Call Beks", the phase of casting where public voting was held to allow a queen from a shortlist of auditionees to become an official contestant of the show, was discontinued this season.

The cast was officially announced on December 7, 2023.[3] Cast promos were revealed one-by-one from December 18, 2023 to December 30, 2023.

The winner of the season was Deja, who was crowned as the Next Filipino Drag Supreme, with Mrs. Tan placing as the runner-up.

About the Show[]

The old den has been raided! But, a new one opens! Drag Den PH returns with a vengeance - new game, new rules. Drag lord Manila Luzon takes in ten local queens to showcase their beauty, wit and talent capped with an all-new and still chaotic lip sync showdown in Dragdagulan. Expect fiercer competition as a new panel of judges set the expectations high to look for the next Drag Supreme.

Format[]

Themewear Drag Test[]

Like in the previous season, the Themewear Drag Test involves walking the runway in front of the judges and explaining what their looks are inspired by, with each episode's theme being assigned beforehand by Manila Luzon.

Main Drag Showdown[]

Like in the previous season, the Main Drag Showdown may be a themed runway or challenge which comes with numerous twists that would allow queens to show their runway looks and/or their talents in the challenge.

Dragdagulan Showdown[]

The Dragdagulan Showdown for Season 2 involves a lip-sync battle between three opponents randomly chosen by Manila through name-picking. Whichever queen emerges victorious in the Dragdagulan Showdown receives immunity from elimination in the episode, which they may use on themselves or save a queen who landed in the bottom.

Elimination[]

After the Dragdagulan Showdown, Manila announces the bottom two or three queens of the episode, with the lowest ranking queen being eliminated. Should the lowest ranking queen of the episode win immunity from winning the Dragdagulan Showdown, the second-lowest ranking queen gets eliminated. If one of the bottom queens becomes the recipient of the immunity won by the episode's Dragdagulan Showdown winner, her opponent gets eliminated by default.
