The fourth season of Drag Race España was officially announced on August 3, 2023 by ATRESplayer. Casting opened on the same day.[2]
It was announced on August 14, 2024 that the Meet The Queens would be released on September 8, 2024.[3] On September 8, the contestants of Season 4 were announced, along with the premiere date of September 22, 2024.[1] The promo theme was TBA.
This season introduced a new twist in the first episode, El Roscón de Reinas. Whoever managed to find the lucky statue within the cake can use it to save themselves once from lip syncing by switching places with the third worst contestant of the episode.
