Drag Race France is the French version of RuPaul's Drag Race. On November 17, 2021, Drag Race France was officially confirmed by World of Wonder through its Instagram accounts.[1]
On December 3, 2021, Drag Race France Instagram account revealed the show will air on France.tv Slash, a French public service fully digital and free television channel that is part of the France Télévisions network, dedicated to youth with programs for young adults, which deals with themes such as sexuality, discrimination, body, identity, for examples.
On February 1, 2022, a call for sponsor video from France.TV Publicité explains to its future clients that the season will count "8 episodes of 60 minutes each".
