Drag Race Philippines is the Filipino version of RuPaul's Drag Race. On August 16, 2021, Drag Race Philippines was officially confirmed by World of Wonder through its Instagram accounts. In this occasion, it was also announced that the show will soon be available on the company's online streaming service, WOW Presents Plus, worldwide (except Canada, which will be streamed on Crave).[1] In the Philippines, Discovery+ and HBO Go were the streaming platforms tapped to air the series.[2][3]
On May 14, 2022, World of Wonder announced Jiggly Caliente as a permanent judge on Drag Race Philippines.[4]Paolo Ballesteros was then announced as the host of Drag Race Philippines on July 11, 2022.[5][6]KaladKaren was announced as another permanent judge on Drag Race Philippines on July 20, 2022,[7] while BJ Pascual, Jon Santos, and Rajo Laurel were announced as alternating judges on Drag Race Philippines on August 10, 2022.[8]
