The second season of Drag Race Philippines was first teased by judge Rajo Laurel in an interview with Philstar.com on October 6, 2022.[1] Four days later, Discovery+ and HBO Go denied that there was already a season two of Drag Race Philippines on its way.[2] However, on October 19, 2022, World of Wonder officially announced during Marché International des Programmes de Communication 2022 that the show and Drag Race Philippines: Untucked! have been renewed for a second season.[3]

On October 29, 2022, casting for Season 2 officially opened with a deadline of December 1, 2022.[4]

The cast of Drag Race Philippines Season 2 was officially announced on July 11, 2023.[5] The promo theme was Tropical.

The winner of the second season of Drag Race Philippines was Captivating Katkat, with Arizona Brandy placing as the runner-up. Hana Beshie was voted Miss Congeniality by her fellow castmates.
