Diamante is her screen name on Grindr. Merybrown comes from the nickname "Marimorena" one of her friends gave her.[6]

- Diamante is the first drag performer to be originally from the Dominican Republic to be part of the Drag Race franchise. She was later followed by Aimee Yonce Shennel from Canada's Drag Race Season 4.
- Diamante Merybrown and Arantxa Castilla La Mancha are from the same drag family.[9]
- Both of them coincidentally finished in 7th place.
- Diamante Merybrown has lived in the Dominican Republic (where she is from originally), Spain, Germany, France and Australia.[10]
