She wanted a name that sounded unique but that still represented a strong and independent latina woman, ultimately deciding to go with Leandra. Rose comes from her favorite flowers, roses.[6]

- Leandra was the first contestant from the state of Yucatán to compete on La Más Draga.
- She was also the first contestant on the show to have been born outside Mexico.
- Leandra created her own digital drag competition on YouTube, named Código Drag, in which latino queens living in California participate.[7]
- She was the first contestant to place 8th on La Más Draga.
- Leandra revealed that the song she and Soro lip synced to in Episode 3 was changed last minute, which was the reason she didn't know the lyrics.[8]
- Leandra's hardest challenge to prepare for was La Más Juanga, while the easiest one was La Más Típica.[9]
- Leandra reused the wig she had planned to wear on La Más Piñata for the music video of Posa Que Posa.[10]
- She lent Soro Nasty the bodysuit that she used for La Más Luchona.[11]
- Interestingly, Soro would be the one to send Leandra home that very same episode.
- She has auditioned for RuPaul's Drag Race at least twice, with one of them being for Season 14.[12]
- Leandra is currently the only contestant from La Más Draga to have received a score of 4 in a main challenge, which is also the lowest score any contestant from the history of the show has ever received. She was given this score for her La Más Luchona look.
- Leandra was a contestant at the Miss Slay LA 2017 pageant which was ultimately won by Foxie Adjuia from The Boulet Brothers' Dragula (Season 1).[13]
