The first season of Make Up Your Mind aired on May 15, 2021. Being a test season, it consisted of only 1 episode. At the end of the episode, actor Barry Atsma took home the Make Up Your Mind trophy, with fellow-actor Jim Bakkum as runner-up.
About the Show[]
"A group of famous Dutch men compete against each other while they are transformed into drag queens. In different rounds, two panels – competing against each other – try to guess which famous Dutchman is hiding behind the alter ego."
Format[]
The show has three rounds. At the end of each round, the panelists have to guess which celebrity is behind the drag persona.
During round one, the participants, each assigned a specific color, walk the catwalk and the panelists are given hints, among other things through the accessories, colors and music. After that, a jury of nine experienced drag queens decides who will be the first celebrity to get eliminated from the show.
Round two is the lip-sync round, in which the participants compete against each other. Each time, in the judges' verdict, one participant is eliminated from the duel. At the end of the round, three contestants are eliminated.
In the last round, the three remaining participants lip-sync to a speech. Just before the end of this, the host says the words "Make Up...", after which the participant says "...Your Mind" in his own voice. One of the participants is eliminated this round.
It is then up to the nine-member jury to decide which of the top 2 celebrities has won the program.

- A day after the broadcast, Peter van der Vorst, content director of RTL 4, announced that there would be a new edition in 2022, consisting of several episodes.[1] Production also revealed that they had been approached by foreign companies for the rights to make their own version of the show, including Germany, China and the United States.[2]
- Most of the people involved have ties to Drag Race Holland:
- Fred van Leer hosts the show.
- Carlo Boszhard is a main judge on Drag Race Holland Season 2.
- Envy Peru, ChelseaBoy, Madame Madness, Megan Schoonbrood and Miss Abby OMG all competed on Drag Race Holland Season 1.
- Love Masisi competed on Drag Race Holland Season 2.
