Samantha Ballentines is a Spanish drag performer and one of the contestants of the second season of Drag Race España.
Samantha was later voted Miss Congeniality by her fellow castmates.
On January 14, 2024, Samantha Ballentines was announced as one of the contestants of the first season of Drag Race España: All Stars.
Once again, Samantha was later voted Miss Congeniality by her fellow castmates.
Drag Name Origin
Samantha comes from Samantha Jones, a character of 1998 TV series Sex and the City. At first, she didn't have a second name, but people would call her Samantha Fox and other names, so she decided to add a last name. Her boyfriend at the time suggested Samantha J&B, but Samantha rejected the idea. Then, he suggested Ballentine's, since she loved the whiskey brand.[3]

- Samantha Ballentines is the first contestant of Drag Race España to survive two lip syncs within the first two episodes.
- Samantha Ballentines is the second contestant in the Drag Race franchise to be in the bottom on her first three episodes, after Akashia on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 1.
- Coincidentally, both Akashia and Samantha went home on their third episode.
- She is also the fourth contestant overall to lip-sync in the first three episodes of a season, after Akashia on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 1, BenDeLaCreme on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 3, and Denali on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13.
