Scaredy Kat, also known professionally as Ally Cubb,[2] is an English drag performer and contestant on Season 1 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.

Name Origin[]

"I came up with my drag name because I’m just a bit of a pussy really, and I’m scared of everything from answering the phone to going on Drag Race. It’s all the same to me." Scaredy Kat explains their drag name on an ITW.

  • Scaredy is one of only twelve queens in RuPaul's Drag Race herstory to have never competed in a sewing challenge - the other eleven being fellow UK Season 1 contestant Gothy Kendoll, Dahlia Sin from US Season 12, Joe Black and Cherry Valentine from UK Season 2, Kahmora Hall from US Season 13, Anubis and Elektra Fence from UK Season 3, and Irene Dubois, Princess Poppy, and Sugar from US Season 15.
  • Scaredy considers themself a "bedroom queen", a queen who only does drag in privacy rather than a live performer.[citation needed]
  • Scaredy is the first queen to have a girlfriend while on the show, and doesn't label their sexuality. They say it's "anyone I fall in love with".[citation needed]
  • Scaredy was the first RuPaul's Drag Race UK contestant to release music with the release of their single, "Bedroom Queen".
  • At 19 years of age, at time of filming, Scaredy is the youngest queen to compete in a RuPaul's Drag Race season, and second youngest in the Drag Race franchise overall.[citation needed]
