The fourth season of Versus Drag Queens was officially announced on December 25, 2020 after being teased since October 13, 2020 on the show's social media. The series will premiere on March 13, 2021. The release date was confirmed on February 27, 2021 with a trailer being released on the same date.
11 drag queens were confirmed as contestants with a "Meet The Queens" video being released for each of them. This season is the first to feature returning contestants from past seasons, with Ágata Görë, Rebel and Javi Del Real returning from Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3 respectively.
This is the first season to air following the initial cancelation of the show, which was supposed to end with its third season. It originally airs on Vive and then gets replicas on Televisión Regional de Chile (TVR) and YouTube in the following days.
This season the reward instead of the "Versus belt" that was given in the three first seasons, it's going to be a crown named "The Purple Star"[1] made by the chilean artist Homero Oyarso Elgueta.
Right after every episode premiere on Vive, a new show called "Detrás Del Drag" is transmitted, in this show hosted by Art-Tica and Nikita Vice interview the recent elimintaed queen. Days after this is also upload in YouTube.
From April 25th to Mid-day April 29th on Versus's website a vote was held to award the "Fan Favorite" of the season. The winners of this title were Elektra Heart and Miss Cookie Knowles.[2]
The Winner of Season 4 was Ursula Del Real, with Javi Del Real placing as Runner-Up, Miss Cookie Knowles in 3rd Place and Elektra Heart placing as 4th Place. The season did not future the title of Miss Congeniality.
