The second season of House of Drag was announced on the TVNZ website and premiered on February 1, 2020 on TVNZ OnDemand. 12 dragstars were selected to compete in a series of outrageous challenges to be crowned the "Brightest Star" and the winner of House of Drag.
The winner of the second season won a cash prize of $10,000 and body bits from BodyFX.
The winner of the second season of House of Drag was Spankie Jackzon, with Elektra Shock placing as runner-up.
Elektra Shock would later compete on the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under, where she placed 5th overall. Co-Hosts Kita Mean and Anita Wigl'it would compete alongside Elektra where Kita placed 1st while Anita placed 8th.
Spankie Jackzon would later compete on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under, where she won the season.
In October 2022 it was announced that Anita Wigl'it would return to compete on Canada's Drag Race: Canada vs The World (Season 1), where she placed 7th.
Flor would later compete on the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under where she placed 3rd.
