Jan Sport, mononomously known as Jan on the show, is the stage name of Charlie Mantione, a drag performer and one of the Season 12 contestants of RuPaul's Drag Race.
Name Origin
It is revealed in a BuzzFeed video that she decided on "Jan Sport" because not only does she think it is a funny reference to the brand of backpacks, but because it reflects her love of sports, such as football, hockey, and soccer.
Similarly to Brita, she shortened her name to "Jan" for Drag Race, adding that she loves Jan Brady from the sitcom "The Brady Bunch."
