Jiggly Caliente (November 29, 1980 – April 27, 2025), also professionally known as Bianca Castro,[8] was a Filipino drag performer from Queens, New York who competed on Season 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race.
She would later return to compete on All Stars 6, where she placed 12th.
On May 14, 2022, she was revealed to be a judge on Drag Race Philippines.[9]
On April 24, 2025, an Instagram post from Jiggly's family confirmed that she would not appear as a judge on Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale, and will no longer be part of the judges' panel on Drag Race Philippines after undergoing a right-leg amputation from catching a severe infection.[10]
Jiggly Caliente passed away on April 27, 2025.[7]
Drag Name Origin
Her name derives from the Pokémon character, Jigglypuff. Caliente stated, "I dropped the puff, and I'm hot so Jiggly Caliente." Her drag mother is Chevelle Brooks. She chose not to use Brooks name.[11]

Biography
Death
On April 24, 2025, a statement was posted to Jiggly's social media platforms by her family, detailing health complications that she was dealing with. In it, they wrote, “The family of Bianca Castro, known to many as the beloved drag performer Jiggly Caliente, is heartbroken to share that over the last month Bianca has experienced a serious health setback,” the statement began. “Due to a severe infection, she was hospitalized and, as a result, has undergone the loss of most of her right leg.” The statement additionally confirmed that Jiggly would be stepping back from the Drag Race Philippines judges panel and limiting public appearances for the foreseeable future.[12]
On April 27, 2025, Jiggly's family posted a second statement on Jiggly's social media, confirming Jiggly's passing. “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known to the world and cherished by many as Jiggly Caliente. Bianca passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at 4:42 am, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.”[7][13]
Later that day, the RuPaul's Drag Race social media posted a statement, saying, "We are devastated by the passing of Jiggly Caliente, a cherished member of the Drag Race family. Her talent, truth, and impact will never be forgotten, and her legacy will continue to slay—always. We’re holding her family, friends, and fans close in our hearts during this difficult time."[14] Additionally, the Drag Race Philippines social media posted a statement, saying, "We are devastated to hear of the passing of Bianca Castro, aka Jiggly Caliente. Jiggly’s humor, love, and light touched so many in the Drag Race family and beyond. Her legacy will continue to uplift the communities she advocated for. Our love and deepest condolences go out to her family and friends. Please give them the privacy and space to grieve this tremendous loss."[15]

- On January 22, 2016, Jiggly became the fifth Drag Race contestant to come out as transgender,[1][2] after Kylie Sonique Love, Carmen Carrera, Kenya Michaels and Monica Beverly Hillz.
- On March 9, 2018, Jiggly released her debut album, titled "T.H.O.T. Process" on iTunes.[2] It features RuPaul, Sharon Needles, Peppermint, Alaska, Ginger Minj, Phi Phi O'Hara and Manila Luzon.
- Her Drag Mother is Chevelle Brooks,[1] and her drag grandmother is Kelexis Davenport.[16] This makes A'keria C. Davenport,[16] Honey Davenport, and Ra'Jah O'Hara her drag cousins.
- Jiggly portrays 'Veronica Ferocity' on FX's 'Pose', a recurring role throughout both season 1 and 2 of the show.[17] The show also briefly features Season 9 finalist Peppermint.
- Jiggly is the second contestant to use two different wigs during the promo and the trailer, after Latrice Royale.
