La Kahena is the stage name of Malek Ben Halima,[1][2] a drag performer and one of the contestants of the first season of Drag Race France.
Drag Name Origin
"Beautiful. Violent. Vulgar... La Kahena is a creature that is half woman and half goddess-warrior. In Arabic, her name means witch, priestess, prophetess or diviner. She will haunt your nights and your dreams. Her inspirations are the beauty of nature (animals, plants, elements, etc.) and history, through the queens that this world has known (fictional or not). Fun fact, she reads the future in the balls."[7]
