The first season of La Más Draga: Solo Las Más was officially announced on February 6, 2024 through the show's official accounts. An announcement video was released, confirming the return of all six previous hosts from the main series, as well as the new, revamped panel of judges for the season.[1]
The cast was then revealed three weeks later on February 27, 2024, through a video showcasing the seven returning contestants from the second, third and fourth seasons of the main series, as well as the surprise inclusion of a new contestant to the franchise: Velvetine. Additionally, the full release date was unveiled to be March 19, 2024.[2]
At the end of the eighth episode, C-Pher was crowned as the winner, with Madison Basrey placing as the runner-up and Velvetine being crowned as the Miss Congeniality (La Más Querida) of the season.
The finale results aren't fixed in place, and reflect the ongoing results, so as of October 2024, Madison Basrey is the runner-up, followed by Sirena and Georgiana, respectively placing 3rd and 4th.

Trivia[]
- As shown on Detrás de Las Máximas, filming for the season began on June 12, 2023, immediately after the filming for La Más Draga (Season 6) had concluded, and finished on June 19, 2023.[3][4]
- During filming, the original plan was for the finale to be held on April 2, 2024 at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City. This also meant that the season was scheduled to premiere on February 13, 2024.[4]
- Despite being originally slated as the guest judge of the finale, the singer and internet personality Yeri Mua had to ultimately withdraw from the role due to health-related matters. Her team made the announcement just one day prior to the finale.[5]
- This is the first All Stars edition of any aired drag competition...
- ... to cast a contestant that had never been featured on a season from the main series before, Velvetine.
- ... to not feature a contestant from every eligible season on its premiere All Stars season, having no contestants from La Más Draga (Season 1) or La Más Draga (Season 5).
- ... in which not a single contestant is aged below 30, with Rudy Reyes being the youngest member of the cast at 30 years old during the filming period.
- ... where the panel of judges was entirely revamped in regards to its main series.
- This is the first competition series in the franchise of La Más Draga...
- ... with rotating judges, Alfonso Waithsman and Luis Torres, and rotating hosts as well.
- ... with only eight contestants.
- ... to air in a different year to when it was filmed.
- ... where every episode only had two members present in the panel of judges.
- ... where every contestant was introduced while in drag.
- ... with El Mictlán and Detrás de Las Máximas, the respective counterparts of El Salseo and Detrás de La Más for La Más Draga: Solo Las Más.
- ... to have all the contestants present in every episode.
- ... where the contestants themselves decided who should be placed up for elimination.
- ... with at least two cash prizes given for each challenge, one for the challenge winner and another for the second best.
- ... where almost every runway theme was recycled from a previous season in the franchise.
- Pixie Pixie from Drag Race México has confirmed that she received an invitation from the producers of La Más Draga to compete in this season. However, she was forced to decline as she had already been cast on Drag Race México (Season 1) just a week prior.[6]
- Interestingly, C-Pher and Sirena are the only contestants from this season who were not born nor have ever resided in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
- Aside from Velvetine, every other contestant from this season was present at the auditions for La Más Draga (Season 6) as part of the lip sync duels between the auditionees and the former contestants of the franchise.[7]
- C-Pher was the opponent assigned to Dimittra.
- Georgiana was the opponent assigned to Cattriona.
- Gvajardo was the opponent assigned to Emma de Rey.
- Madison Basrey was the opponent assigned to Chacona Voodoo.
- Rudy Reyes was the opponent assigned to Electra Walpurgis.
