Lady Gagita is a Filipino drag performer and one of the contestants of the first season of Drag Den.

On January 27, 2023, Lady Gagita announced via X that she was chosen to host Mudrakels, a Filipino drag makeover show airing on YouTube beginning February 17, 2023.[3]

Drag Name Origin[]

Lady Gagita is a well-known impersonator of Lady Gaga throughout the Philippines[4], having started impersonating the singer in 2010 while she was still in her sophomore year of college.[5]

Trivia[]

  • Besides Lady Gaga, Lady Gagita also impersonates Katy Perry under the name "Katy Perya".[5]
  • Lady Gagita won Village Pipol Choice Awards' Local Drag Queen of the Year title in 2019[8] and 2021.[9]
  • In an interview for PEP.ph, Lady Gagita revealed that she auditioned for Drag Den and Drag Race Philippines. She opted to join the former show for budgetary reasons, as she felt that joining the latter show would cause her to go bankrupt.[10]
    • However, she also stated in the interview that she is open to be cast on Drag Race Philippines.
  • As stated in the trailer for the first season of Mudrakels, Lady Gagita is the drag mother of Drag Race Philippines season 1 winner Precious Paula Nicole.[8]
  • In the third episode of Mudrakels' first season, Lady Gagita further revealed that she and Lumina Klum are drag parents of Arizona Brandy, one of the Mudras on the show.
