Lady Morgana

Lady Morgana Perez,[1] known simply as Lady Morgana on the show, is a Filipino drag performer and one of the contestants of the first season of Drag Race Philippines.

Lady Morgana would later be voted Miss Congeniality by her fellow castmates.

On February 10, 2023, Lady Morgana was announced as one of eight Mudras to appear on the first season of Mudrakels.[4]

About

A proud Davao queen who has been doing drag for more than 15 years, Lady Morgana is a true classic drag queen. With her spider lashes, high brows, creative wigs, and out-of-the-box costumes, Lady Morgana is known for her comedic and hosting skills, always making sure that her performances are sprinkled with love, laughter, and feelings. She works as a financial advisor during the day.[5]

Drag Name Origin

"Morgana" was given by her drag mother Lay John Perez, and is based after Ursula's younger sister who is the main antagonist of The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea. Meanwhile, "Lady" is a name that a friend gave her.[6]

  • Lady Morgana is the first contestant on Drag Race Philippines to survive two Lip Syncs For Your Life and be eliminated on her third.
  • She is the first contestant on Drag Race Philippines to be told to sashay away only through footage from Untucked!.
  • In an interview for Gay Times, Lady Morgana revealed that she would have impersonated late Filipino actress and 2015 Madrid International Film Festival Best Actress awardee Cherie Gil had she made it to Snatch Game.[7]
  • She is the first Miss Congeniality of Drag Race Philippines.
