Lip Sync For The World[]
A Lip Sync For The World is a special style of lip sync used on Season 1 of Canada's Drag Race: Canada vs The World.
At the end of each episode, Brooke Lynn Hytes would pick two queens that performed best in that week's challenge, and will be deemed the "Top Two Queens" of the week. Brooke Lynn would then select another two queens who performed the worst, who are therefore deemed up for elimination. After this, the bottom two queens would be given the chance in the Werk Room to plead their case for staying in the competition to the top two queens. The Top 2 would then select a lipstick which bears the name of one of the bottom queens, representing who they would eliminate if they were to win the lip sync.
Before the lip sync begins, Brooke Lynn will state the following to the queens:
"Two internationally acclaimed queens stand before us. Ladies, this is your chance to impress us, and earn the power... to give one of the bottom queens... the boot. The time has come... for you to lip sync... FOR. THE. WORLD. Good luck, and don't fuck it up."
Following the lip sync, the judges vote for the queen they think performed best in the lip sync. The winning queen would then reveal who she had chosen to eliminate, and that queen would be asked to "Sashay away" by Brooke Lynn.
Lip Sync For Your Life[]
A Lip Sync For Your Life is a special style of lip sync used on Season 2, due to the Golden Beaver Twist.
At the end of each episode, the three queens who performed worst in that week's challenge will be placed up for elimination. One of them will be saved by the challenge winner using the power of the Golden Beaver, indicating that the other two queens must lip sync for their life. Before the lip sync begins, Brooke Lynn Hytes will state the following to the queens:
"Two internationally acclaimed queens stand before us. Ladies, this is your last chance to impress us, and save yourself from elimination. The time has come... for you to lip sync... FOR. YOUR. LIFE. Good luck, and don't fuck it up."
Following the lip sync, the judges vote for the queen they think performed best. This queen will then be told "Shantay, you stay." by Brooke Lynn, while the eliminated queen will be told to "Sashay away."
