A Lip Sync for Your Life is the most common style of lip sync used on Drag Race Down Under.
At the end of each episode, the two (or sometimes more) queens who performed worst in that week's challenge will be placed up for elimination, indicating that they must lip sync for their life. Before the lip sync begins, RuPaul (from Seasons 1 to 3) / Michelle Visage (beginning Season 4) will state the following to the queens:
"Two beautiful queens stand before me. This is your last chance to impress the judges, and save yourself from elimination. The time has come... for you to lip sync... FOR. YOUR. LIFE. Good luck, and don't fuck it up."

Following the lip sync, the queen who (in Ru's/Michelle's opinion) performed best will be told "Shantay, you stay," while the eliminated queen will be asked to "Sashay away." In certain cases, both contestants may end up being saved, or alternatively, more than one queen may be eliminated.
Final Lip Sync[]
Referred to as a "Lip Sync for the Crown" (although not to be confused with the American format), the final lip sync of each season follows a slightly different format:
- In Seasons 1 and 2, the queens from the Top 3 or Top 4 would individually Lip Sync for the Crown, with Ru choosing the season's winner based on this lip sync as well as each queen's performance throughout the season.
- In Season 3, the weakest queen from the Top 3 would be eliminated by RuPaul without being given the chance to Lip Sync. The remaining two finalists would then Lip Sync for the Crown, with Ru choosing the season's winner based on this lip sync as well as each queen's performance throughout the season.
