About[]

From Mexico City comes a unicorn queen, because, as she defines herself, she is “the complete fantasy.” Her drag is a sharp horn that can make you die of laughter. So much pink and so much fantasy can take her to the final dance on the main stage.[3]

Drag Name Origin[]

Luna comes from one of her real last names, while Lansman comes from a friend of hers from Sweden. On one occasion, while super drunk, he told her that she should call herself Lansman after his very own last name. They started chatting about it and it stuck, to the point that Luna even has his family added on Facebook.[4]

Trivia[]

  • Based on the opening sequence, the Lotería card assigned to Luna was El Unicornio. The number on her card also indicates that she was the thirteenth contestant cast for the season.[5]
  • She owns her own wig and eyelashes company called Pestañas y Pelucas Lansman.[6]
  • She used to work in an architectural firm as an interior designer for around nine years before dedicating fully to drag.[7]
  • Both her blue coat and the shrimp headpiece from La Más Suertuda were made by Barbara Durango.[8]
  • Her original plan for La Más Legendaria was to present a look inspired by La Llorona, though she decided to change it in fear of many other contestants doing the same.[8]
    • Ironically, not a single contestant ended up using her as their runway inspiration, although Mista Boo did reference the legend in her runway.[8]
    • Also, Luna has revealed that while preparing all of their looks for the show, Mista asked in their group chat if El Chupacabras counted as a legend. Luna, in order to snatch the legend for herself, lied and told the rest of the contestants that it did not. This didn't work, though, as both Madison and Memo Reyri also presented looks inspired by El Chupacabras.[8]
  • The dog featured in her Día de Muertas runway is named Conchita and belongs to the producers.[9]
  • Luna was the first winner of La Más Volada to not also receive the title of La Más Querida, as her season was the first one to award both titles separately.
  • Luna was the one in charge to put Roberto Carlo in full drag for his Coronación look for the finale of La Más Draga (Season 4).[10]
  • In both La Más Draga and Drag Race México, Luna was eliminated after losing a lip sync battle to a song by Anahí.
  • Luna and Nina de la Fuente are the second pair of contestants to tie for the title of Miss Congeniality on the same season, after Sapphira Cristál and Xunami Muse on RuPaul's Drag Race (Season 16).
  • Luna is the lowest placing challenge winner in Drag Race México Season 2, at 7th place.
