Make Up Your Mind is a television drag queen competition franchise created by Dutch TV personality Carlo Boszhard and his partner, Herald Adolfs. It is produced by Adolfs' production company Herriemakers.[2] The show showcases various celebrities, disguised as fabulous drag queens, competing for the crown. Each episode, an all-drag queen judges panel decides which celebrities are eliminated, after which it is up to the panelists to guess who they are.[3]
Since its original debut on Dutch television, Make Up Your Mind has been sold to various international TV networks, including Germany.[4] France, China and the United States have also shown interest in adapting the show.[2][5] Carlo and Herald have since also expressed interest in expanding to Sweden, Denmark and Spain.[6]

Trivia[]
- Season 2 of Make Up Your Mind was nominated for the Televizier-Ster in the category Impact, one of the Netherlands's most prestige awards for television programmes.[21]
- Season 1 of Viva la Diva - Wer ist die Queen? was not only nominated, but also won the Deutscher Fernsehpreis in the category Best Makeup; one of Germany's most prestige awards for television programmes. Bambi Mercury and Envy Peru accepted the award.[22]
- RuPaul has been accused of ripping off parts of the franchise's format for Season 2 of RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race.[6]
- Italy's Non Sono Una Signora was initially set to premiere on November 7, 2022,[23] but was then postponed by exactly one month to December 7, 2022,[24] then to February 2023,[25] then to May 16, 2023,[26] and then again to June 29, 2023 was revealed.[14]
- Official sources say the season was postponed again from May 16 due to Inter-Milan's soccer match in the Champions Leage semifinal, though anonymous sources claim that politics played a part in the show's constant postponing, with some conservative right-wing parties (of which the Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni is a major exponent) allegedly pushing against the show's airing.[27] Judge Vanessa Van Cartier has openly spoken out against the way the show was treated by Rai.[28][29][30]
- The show was later canceled after just one season. Carlo Boszhard stated that the cancellation was due to a change of leadership at RAI2, influenced by Italian politics.[13]
