The second season of Make Up Your Mind was officially announced on May 16, 2021 via Peter van der Vorst, content director of RTL 4.

On February 23, 2022, Dutch website Televizier announced that, over the span of 5 episodes, 25 Dutch celebrities will go head-to-head to compete for the Make Up Your Mind trophy. Creator Carlo Boszhard told RTL Boulevard that each episode will feature 5 celebrities.
