The third season of Make Up Your Mind was officially announced on September 24, 2022 via Herriemakers Productions' Instagram story.[3] RTL Netherlands later confirmed the new season in their newsletter in January of 2023.[4]

- This is the first season of Make Up Your Mind to feature guest judges to help Envy and the other judges decide which celebrities will be eliminated.[5]
- This season, the celebrities that were eliminated in the first round still got to perform the song they would've performed for their lip sync number.[5]
- This season, the celebrities that would have been eliminated in the second round landed in the 'danger-zone' instead. Each episode, one celebrity was eliminated in this round. The winner of this round moved forward to round three, making the total amount of celebrities fighting for the finale spot three, rather than two.[5]
- Ruben Nicolai, who competed as Busty Blue in episode 2, appeared as a guest panelist in the first season.
