Mami Watta is an Ivorian-French drag performer and one of the contestants on the second season of Drag Race France.
On June 11th, 2025, it was announced she would return to compete in the first season of Drag Race France All Stars.

Her drag name comes from the African goddess Mami Wata.

Trivia
- Mami and Keiona are the first contestants in the Drag Race franchise to be of Ivorian origin.
- Mami is part of the Legendary House of Owens (previously named Ladurée), the first French Ballroom house from the Mainstream scene.[3] She is active in the Parisian scene, where she walks the Drags Face and Lipsync categories.[4]
- She is also part of the Parisian Chapter of the Impeccable Kiki House of Versace.[5]
- Mami's look for the 2 en 1 runway was originally bee themed but after seeing Vespi do a similar look the previous week, she painted her look to completely change it.[6]
- Mami is the first finalist on Drag Race France to never win a Maxi Challenge.
- Similarly to Elecktra Bionic, Mami reached the finale without ever winning a Maxi Challenge nor placing in the bottom two. However unlike Elecktra and more similarly to Admira Thunderpussy, she has never been a part of a lip sync as she was not chosen to Lip Sync for the Crown and was removed from the competition alongside Punani by Nicky Doll at the finale. This makes her the first finalist in the Drag Race franchise to never win a Maxi Challenge nor be part of a lip sync.
