Maria Edilia is a Venezuelan-Spanish drag performer and one of the contestants of the third season of Drag Race España.
She would later be crowned Miss Congeniality by her fellow castmates.
Drag Name Origin[]
In 2002, before starting to do drag, she used to parody María Edilia Rangel Márquez, the winner of Protagonistas de Novela in Venezuela, with her friends. That, together with the fact that her mother is also named María, made everyone start calling her by that name. So once she started doing drag, she knew she couldn't be any other name.[4]
