"Mistress" is a double entendre for "a bitch who is in control" and "a sexy slut". "Isabelle" is the feminine version of her actual name. "Brooks" comes for her drag mother, Chevelle Brooks.

  • Mistress is the first queen from Houston to compete in the Drag Race franchise.
  • Mistress is the drag daughter of Chevelle Brooks[6], and her drag grandmother is Kelexis Davenport. This makes the late Jiggly Caliente her drag sister and A'keria C. Davenport, Honey Davenport, and Ra'Jah O'Hara her drag cousins, Kennedy Davenport and the late Sahara Davenport her drag aunts, and Monét X Change her drag niece.
  • Mistress adopted both Spice and Sugar as her drag daughters.[7]
    • Although Mistress adopted Spice and Sugar, Mistress is Sugar's drag mother and Malaysia Babydoll Foxx is Spice's drag mother.[8]
    • While it was said during the Season 17 Roast that Mistress was no longer their mother, Mistress has confirmed she is still the mother of the twins.[9][10]
