Mudrakels is a Filipino drag competition program hosted by Drag Den alum Lady Gagita loosely based around RuPaul's Drag U where drag queens serving as drag mothers (referred to as Mudras on the show) give drag makeovers to aspiring drag artists from the Philippines (referred to as Nakshies on the show).
In each odd-numbered episode, two drag mothers give makeovers to their respective drag children, who would then face-off in a lip sync battle (also referred to as a Boogie Wonderland on the show) in each even-numbered episode. After each lip sync, Gagita and the mothers who appeared in the pair of episodes would deliberate to determine a winner, who would then move to the Grand Finale. The winning mother-child duo gets crowned Queen Mudra and Anak ng Mudra respectively at the Grand Finale.[1]
Its production was officially confirmed by Ride or Die Studios on October 3, 2022.[2]
