The Music Video Challenge is a type of Maxi Challenge on RuPaul's Drag Race where the contestants have to star in a music video, typically for one of RuPaul's songs. The challenge is typically the final Maxi Challenge that the finalists or semi-finalists of the season have to face, determining who progresses to the finale or final lip sync.
The challenge was featured from Season 1 to Season 8 and has since been mostly replaced by the Rumix Challenge.

Trivia[]
- Season 1 had the contestants record an original verse to "Cover Girl" by RuPaul with the winner of the season's verse being featured in the final music video. This was the first time in the franchise where verse writing was incorporated in a challenge until Season 6 with its Girl Group Challenge.
- Although Season 7 and Season 8 edited out the eliminated contestant from the final music video, the WOWPresents YouTube channel uploaded an edit of "The Realness" featuring Chi Chi DeVayne in 2020 as a tribute to her after her passing.[1]
