Naysha Lopez is a Puerto Rican drag performer from Chicago, Illinois. The former Miss Continental was one of 12 contestants to compete on the eighth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Naysha was the first queen to be eliminated during season 8 by losing a lip sync to Lady Gaga's Applause against Laila McQueen, but then returned on episode 3 "RuCo's Empire", only to be eliminated on the following episode.

Naysha would later return to compete on the eighth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.

  • Naysha is the drag sister of Season 4 contestant Dida Ritz, Season 12 winner Jaida Essence Hall and Season 13 contestant Kahmora Hall.
  • Naysha won the Miss Continental pageant in 2013. She later passed on the title to Brooke Lynn Hytes the following year.
    • Coincidentally, Season 15 winner and Miss Continental 2012 winner, Sasha Colby, passed the title down to Naysha.
    • Interestingly, Brooke's drag mother, Farra N Hyte, was Naysha's first runner-up.
    • She said that after she won Miss Continental, World of Wonder contacted her to ask her to audition for Season 7 but she was unable to as she wanted to complete her reign as Miss Continental so she auditioned for Season 8 instead.
    • In 2021, Lopez competed in the Mr. Continental Pageant, winning the Swimsuit Category but overall placing first runner-up while expressing desire to win the title in the future and become the first winner of both titles.[2]
  • Naysha was the second queen to be eliminated and return in the same season to stay past the episode in which she returned, defying the so-called "returning queen curse." The first was Trixie Mattel, the third being Alyssa Edwards in All Stars 2, and the fourth was Latrice Royale in All Stars 4.
