Pythia (EL: Πυθία) is a Greek-Canadian drag performer and one of the contestants of the second season of Canada's Drag Race.

On July 15, 2024, it was announced that Pythia would return to compete on the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars.[8]

Drag Name Origin

"I am named Pythia after the ancient Greek oracle of the God of Art, Apollo! She was a very respectable and powerful woman of her time and I really wanted to embody everything she stands for with my drag art."[2]

Trivia

  • Pythia was born and raised in Greece then moved to Montréal, Quebec at the age of 14.[5][10]
    • After graduating high school, she then moved to Regina, Saskatchewan to attend the Regina School of Theatre before returning to Montréal.[11]
      • This makes her the first contestant on Canada's Drag Race to represent Saskatchewan, albeit by way of Quebec.
  • Pythia's favorite song to lip-sync to is "Violence" by Grimes.[12]
  • Pythia once posted an impersonation of Miley Cyrus online, which Miley loved so much that she sent her a DM and reposted the video.[13]
  • Pythia is the first contestant to win a Rusical on Canada's Drag Race.
  • Pythia is the second contestant on Canada's Drag Race to make it to the finale without placing in the bottom two, after Scarlett BoBo.
  • In every episode that Pythia won a Maxi Challenge, Icesis Couture was in the bottom two.
  • The outfit that Pythia wore for the Season 2 reunion was actually a mini challenge outfit because production told the Top 4 that they were preparing for a mini challenge, yet when they arrived on the Main Stage, it turned out to be a reunion.[11]
  • Pythia is bisexual.[14]
  • In Canada's Drag Race season 2 and RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars (Season 1), Pythia lost a Lip Sync both times with a song by Celine Dion.
