Queen of the Universe was an international drag-singing competition directed by the producers of RuPaul's Drag Race. The show was officially announced on February 25, 2021.[1]
On June 23, 2023, it was announced that Queen of the Universe would be one of four Paramount+ shows cancelled in exchange for a tax write-off, and in preparation for the platform to begin streaming content from Showtime.[2] On June 30, the show was removed from the streaming service entirely.[3]
