Rita Baga is the stage name of Jean-François Guèvremont,[1] a French Canadian drag performer. She is one of the Season 1 runners-up (along with Scarlett BoBo) of Canada's Drag Race.

Name Origin

Rita's name may be a reference to the vegetable rutabaga.[citation needed]

  • When she first started doing drag, she was heavily inspired by Lady Bunny, due to originally being a plus-sized queen.[citation needed]
